Agnes Mae Arvin, Matriarch of her family and widow of Trefford Arvin, Sr. left her earthly home to join him in eternal rest on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016. A native of Richmond, KY she was born on April 21, 1926, to the late Joseph and Fannie G. Lamb Bentley. Aggie was a loving and dedicated Mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She like most of her family was a huge UK sports fan. She leaves her legacy to children Mona Lee Clark, husband William, Devoina Kay Huff, husband Paul, Joseph Michael Arvin, Tonya Gayle Abdolzadeh, husband Raham and Yolanda Lynn East, husband Brad as well as 4 generations of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many extended family members. Agnes was preceded in death by children Trefford Arvin, Jr., Patricia Ann Campbell, Denna Lanea Arvin, and Vina Illene "Tinky" Peters. Her family will honor her with a Remembrance Service on Tuesday, March 1 at 12:30 PM to be held at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
