A life long resident and native of Jessamine County Albert Lee Fayne, 69, left his earthly home to enter his heavenly home on Saturday, Feb. 27. He was born Dec. 1, 1946, to the late William Milton and Jeanette Buffin Fayne. Albert was a member of the Christian Assembly Church and the Board of Auctioneers. Auctioneering was an occupation that he enjoyed, as well as his passion for coon hunting. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife and devoted companion for many years Flonnie Rogers Fayne, Joshua Todd Fayne, wife Sabrina, his 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sister Peggy Clark, brothers Billy G. Fayne, wife Joyce and Jack Fayne, wife Mona. He was preceded in death by a son Thomas Lee Fayne and great granddaughter Raigan Elizabeth Gay. The Christian Assembly Church where he was to be baptized this past Sunday will host his Remembrance Service at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, March 1. His family will receive friends at the Church from 10:00 AM until time of Service on Tuesday. Albert will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery. Honoring him as pallbearers will be J. T. Fayne, Kalob Paul, Thomas Gay, Christian Fayne, Jacob Gumm, and Kyle Dotson. Honorary bearers will be Allan Shaw, and Christopher Gumm. The family request donations be made to the Christian Assembly Church in memory of Albert Fayne.
