Alean Cowan Thomas

Alean Thomas, 80, Lexington entered into eternal rest on Sept. 21, at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a native of Jessamine County born March 14, 1934, to the late Vernon and Carrie Cowan. She was the widow of Kenneth Jay Thomas who died in 1976. Alean retired from St. Joseph Hospital where she was in charge of Housekeeping. She is survived by a son Scott Matthew Thomas, sister Mary Figg, niece Rhonda Bryant and nephew Vernon Figg. Scott will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 1:00PM at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 25. She will be laid to rest at 130 PM in the Wilmore Cemetery with Rev.
