Alice Barton Newton Hillman Snow, 102, died Oct. 18, 2011 at Hahn Manor in Wilmore. She was born in Illinois to the late James Madison and Mary Frances Webb Newton and was the widow of Richard Hillman and Harvey Snow. Alice had been a bookkeeper at Asbury Seminary for 30 years before her retirement, was the oldest member of Wilmore United Methodist Church, a member of Wilmore Homemakers Club, Wilmore Woman’s Club and was a Kentucky Colonel. On her 90th birthday Judge Neal Cassity proclaimed Oct. 15, as Alice Snow Day in Jessamine County. She is survived by one son Paul N. Hillman of Louisiana, 5 grandchildren Richard Neikirk wife Robin, Greggory Neikirk, wife Nancy, Jack W. Elliott, Elizabeth Agee husband Steven, and David C. Elliott wife Patti, 11 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by daughters Jane Stoneback and Mary H. Elliott, granddaughter Mary Renee Neikirk, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Graveside Service at Wilmore Cemetery will be Thursday, Oct. 20, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Don Reed officiating. Grandsons will honor her as pallbearers and honorary bearers will be Edward T. Elliott, Steve Agee and Charles Crouse. Guestbook www.hagerandcundifffunerals.com
