Allie Murphy Harrison, 80, widower of Lottie Harrison who was his loving wife for 58 years, left his earthly home on Tuesday, March 28. He is the devoted father of 4 sons; Wayne, wife Michelle, Ronnie, Donald, wife Brenda, and Vernie Harrison, grandfather to 17 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. He also is survived by a brother Jim Harrison, wife Ann and a host of nieces and nephews. Allie was best known for rebuilding boat propellers and had developed many friends in the boating community. He was known for his honesty and willingness to help with their propellers. A native of Jackson County, born Oct. 12, 1936, to the late Willie Wayne and Gertie Mae Masters Harrison. He was preceded in death by brothers Coleman and June Bug Harrison and sister Myrna "Toyce" Carrier. His family is honoring his wishes for cremation and will hold a Graveside Remembrance at Camp Nelson National Cemetery 2:30 PM on Friday, April 7, with Military Honors.
