Anna Lee Davis Durham, 86, widow of Edward Lee Durham since 2014, entered into eternal rest at Baptist Health on Sunday, March 22, 2020. She was a native of Fayette County, born March 23, 1934 to the late S Joseph and Fannie Gobel Lam Bentley. Alma was a member of Southland Christian Church, loved to play bingo, fish and spend time with her family. She leaves to cherish her memory son Shirley Wayne Davis, wife Patricia, William Arthur Davis, Buddy June Davis, and Johnny Ray Davis, a sister Mamie Master, husband Luther, brother Charles Wayne Bentley, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son Lewis Edward Davis, daughter Alma “Susie” Johnson, sisters Agnes Arvin, Etta Wheeler, Melvina Curtis, brothers William. Homer, Issac ,and Joseph, Jr. Bentley. A Private family gathering will take place at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home before her Graveside Remembrance in Maple Grove Cemetery. In accordance with the recommendations made by CDC, WHO the National Funeral Directors Association and the Funeral Directors Association of KY, the requirements are that no public funerals, visitations or graveside service be held at this time.
