Anna Catherine ‘Cathy’ Owen, 62, of Ridgecrest Dr. died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 27. A native of Cynthiana born May 21, 1948, to william and Betty Jo Flora Heck. Cathy was an Administrative Assistant at U.K. Hospital and attended Southland Christian Church. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Wood and husband Jeff, 3 grandchildren Jordan and Sydney McKinney and Peyton Wood, 2 sisters Connie Bills, Lexington, and Martha Ann Sullivan, Cynthiana, and 2 brothers Sonny Lyons, Texas and Lee Lyons, Cynthiana.

Services will be 10 AM Wed. June 2, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home,with Rev. Michael Riensche officiating. Pallbearers will be Tony Wood, Michael Wood,Jeff Stephenson, Tracy Dessenko, Cory Soldwisch, and Thomas Swartz. burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Tues. June 1.
