Nicholasville: Anna Louise ‘Mamaese’ Peel, 88, died Fri. Jan. 6, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was the widow of Burch Peel who died in 2007 she was a native of Jessamine County born April 30, 1923, to the late Jesse and Atha True Lowry. She is survived by 2 daughters Carolyn Estes and Anita Sue Huffman, husband Buck, grandchildren Greg Estes, Shante`Birchum, husband Rick, April Williams, husband Roger, Holly Pryse, husband Billy, Stephanie Garrison, husband Randy, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 11 siblings and a great grandson.

Services will be 1:00 PM on Tuesday, Jan. 10, with Rev. Ken Whitehouse officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Maple Grove Cemetery. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Rick Birchum, Greg Estes, Roger Williams, Billy Pryse, Randy Garrison, and Ralph Cunningham. Honorary bearers will be Bobby Estes, Danny Lowery, David Lowery, Kim Simpson, Lisa Simpson, and Tammy Alfaro. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Mon. Jan. 9.
