Anna Belle Hunter Roberts

Nicholasville: Anna Belle Hunter Roberts, 91, of Locust Heights died Thurs., March 20, at St. Joseph Hospice Care Center. A native of Jessamine County she was born Jan. 2, 1917, to the late Walden and Bessie Green Hunter. She was the widow of J. Hartman Roberts who died in 1992, a member of the Nicholasville Christian Church, a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, and received a Masters Degree from the University of Kentucky. She retired from the Jessamine County Board of Education after serving as the Director of Pupil Personnel for 41 years. She is survived by her daughter Debbie Lovitt and husband Jerry. She was preceded in death by the light of her life a granddaughter Sara Hart Lovitt and 2 brothers.

Services will be 11:00 AM Mon. March 24, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Harrison officiating, burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Lovitt, David Garrett, Jesse Jackson, Bryan Jackson, Billy Floyd, and Johnny West. Visitation will be Sun., March 23, from 1 to 4 PM at the funeral home. The family request in lieu of flowers contributions be made in her memory to the Sara Hart Lovitt Memorial Scholarship, Asbury College, One Macklem Dr., Wilmore, Ky., 40390.
