Anna Louise Peel Robinson, 83, widow of Donald Robinson since 1998, and Gene Walker since 2010, joined them in eternal rest on Friday Oct. 28, 2022.  She was a native of Jessamine County, born Nov. 19, 1938, to the late William Bascom and Callie Hager Peel.   She was a member of Antioch Christian Church and loved to devote her time to others.  She was a hairdresser at Ann’s Beauty Shop, and in early years was employed by the Wilmore Sewing Factory, and later was employed by Carpenters Dish Barn in the Garden Center, where she learned to do flower arrangements and many other crafts. Ann was an avid gardener and spent many hours canning fruits and vegetables. She had a passion for bargain hunting and yard sales.  She will be fondly remembered by her daughter Cathy “Candy” Sisco, husband Dan, son Steven Ray Robinson, wife Tammy, grandchildren Heather Paterson, Megan Paterson, April Robinson, fiancé Josh Henson, and Cotie Robinson and 7 great grandchildren Jaylin Sherrard, Alan and Adyn Henson, River Robinson, Jacob, Nathenial, and McKenna.  She leaves to cherish childhood memories her sister Mary Katherine Perkins.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many other extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by brothers William Thomas Peel, Bobby Lyle Peel, and an infant sister.   A Remembrance Service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, Nov. 4, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Rob Corley officiating.  Anna will be laid to rest in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.  Honoring her as pallbearers will be Dannie Sisco, Joe Rhinehimer, Justin Rhinehimer, Cotie Robinson, Duke Hager, Curt Thomas, and Paul Floyd.  The family will greet friends on Thursday beginning at 4:00 PM and ending at 8:00 PM at  Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home.  The family suggests contributions be made in her memory to the Rose Terrace Nursing Home.  “ My Mother kept a garden, a garden of the Heart. She planted all the good things that gave my life a start. I am my Mother’s garden; I am her legacy.”  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the loyalty and trust gives to us to care for Anna and her family.
