Barbara Sue (Calico) Blankenship

Barbara Sue Blankenship, loving wife of Jack B. Blankenship for 58 years, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her family in the home she and Jack shared.  She was the daughter of the late Eugene and Hazel Lowery Calico.  Was a native of Jessamine County born Nov. 22, 1945, former Activity Director in Royal Manor Nursing Home, and member of St. Luke Catholic Church. Barbara Sue will be fondly remembered by her children Jeffery Blankenship, Angela Shafer, Jessie René Sparks, brother Danny Calico and her grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by a son David  Blankenship. Cremation was chosen in accordance with her wishes with no services planned.  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust the Blankenship family has given to us to care for their loved one. Sign guest book and leave a memory for her family.
