Bernice Hamilton Corman, 72, passed away on Sat. Dec. 1, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was a native of Woodford County but at an early age the family moved to Jessamine County where she was a life long resident.
She was born Jan. 16, 1940 to the late Nelson, Sr. and Margaret Ellen Martin Hamilton. Bernice was a homemaker and businesswoman having owned Tamber Manor Nursing Home and Timeless Antiques.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years Clay M. Corman, daughter Teresa M. Brown, husband Rodney, son Jackie A. Corman, Linda Horton, 5 grandchildren Beau, Cody, Josh, Brittany, Bethany, 3 great grandchildren Benjamin, Carson, and Maylei, 2 sisters Wanda Scott and Sue Curd, husband Gary, a brother Nelson Hamilton, Jr. wife Ruth, brother in law Carl Corman, wife Ruby, and numerous nieces, nephews and devoted friends.
Her Remembrance Service will be private. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Jim Ed Shearer, Alex Carter, Kalen Hall, Josh Corman, Beau Brown, and Cody Brown. Honorary bearers will beLouise Ridgeway, Katherine Brown, Judy Canter, Judy Ddrakeford, Billie Sue Watts, Eva Joyce McDaniel, and Jayne Combs. Visitation will be on Tues., Dec. 4, from 11:00 AM until 9:PM.
