Betty “JoJo” Blevins, 74 daughter the late Rufus and Pearl Shea Blevins left her earthly home on Wednesday May 6, 2020, while at St Joseph East Hospital. She was a native a Jessamine County born Sept. 7, 1945. Betty was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, and she loved working puzzles, gardening, cooking and especially cleaning. It has been said that not a speck of dirt could escape her. She will be fondly remembered by her sister and her husband Melissa and Rusty Rhinehimer, her 3 nieces and one nephew, as well as her great nieces and nephews. She loved her family and was always excited when new babies came along. “It broke our hearts to lose you but you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.” She was preceded in death by a sister Jullie Reynolds. Visitation will be held prior to the Service, adhering to the Governor’s guidelines of only 10 closest family members present at one time. Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home will live stream her service on Tuesday, at 1:00 PM, after which she will be laid to rest at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens next to her mother. Please check our Facebook page for details on how to access the live stream Service. Due to the COVID 19 restrictions, only 10 of the closest family members can attend the Service, but if you would have liked to be there, call Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home for us to place a white silk rose with your name on it for the family to have after the Service. We value nothing more than the trust given to us to care for “JoJo” by her family.
