Beulah Wall Gorman, widow of Earl C. Gorman since 2005, joined him in their heavenly home on April 13, 2022. Beulah was the daughter of the late John Willie and Macie Eades Wall, born on March 13, 1931 in Richmond, Kentucky. She attended Nicholasville United Methodist Church when she was in good health, and more recently enjoyed visits by the church's Homebound Ministry, especially Barbara Robertson. Beulah was a loving homemaker, an immaculate housekeeper, and a collector of recipes. She very much enjoyed the music and movies of Elvis Presley and Doris Day. Beulah leaves wonderful memories and will be greatly missed by her daughter, Betty Carter, husband Marlin, granddaughter Crystal Figg, husband Robert, and great grandchildren Colton and Halynn Figg, who always made her face light up. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mabel Rymell and Ruby Owens. Beulah’s family will honor her with a Remembrance Service at 11:30 AM Monday, April 18, 2022, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home, following which she will be laid to rest with her husband Earl at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Sammy Amburgey, Marlin Carter, Robert Figg, Robert Ball, and Scott Linville. The family will greet friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 AM until service time. Memorial contributions are suggested to one’s favorite charity. “You’ll never forget your mother’s face, the sound of her voice, the stories she told, the lessons she taught—they are her gift and your legacy.” Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the loyalty and trust of Beulah’s family to care for her.
