Beverly Virginia (Haynes) Mack

Beverly Virginia Mack, 74, of Lexington, beloved mother of Sheila Johnson, left her earthly home on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.  Beverly was born July 27, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois to the late William and Jacqueline Pesek Haynes.  She was of the Lutheran faith and enjoyed sewing and playing computer games in her free time.  Beverly was a “people-person” who loved socializing with her friends and visiting with folks at the American Legion, Post 8, where she worked as a clerk.  Her favorite holiday was Halloween.  In addition to her daughter Sheila, Beverly leaves wonderful memories with her granddaughter Kayla Johnson, great-granddaughter Abigail Jarvis, her brothers Zane Haynes and Wayne Haynes, and her special companion for the last 40 years, Joseph Switzer.  No services are scheduled at this time.  “As some people journey through life, they leave footprints of kindness and love, courage and compassion.  Even when they’re gone, the trail they’ve left behind continues to inspire us.”  Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home would like to extend their deepest sympathy to Beverly’s family and friends.  All arrangements are under the direction of Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home.
