Beverly Brock Pierce

Beverly Darlene Pierce, 63, of Foxwood died at St. Joseph Jessamine Ambulatory on Sat. March 12. A native of Scott County she was born Sept. 25, 1947, to the late John Riley and Helen Louise Freels Brock. Beverly was a member of New Hope Fellowship Church and a retired employee of the Jessamine County Board of Education having been a Head Start teacher and bus driver. She is survived by her husband of 38 years Charles Ray Pierce, children Tim Hisle and Julie, Jeannie Richardson husband John, Charlene, Anthony, James and Joshua Pierce, grandchildren Ashley, Erica, Amanda and Lucas Hisel, Nicole Drury, Ben and James Dale Russell, wife Amanda, Shawna, Molly, Christian, and Haley Pierce, Ashley and Brandi Richardson, brothers Johnny Brock, wife Margaret, Billy Brock, wife Joyce, Tony Brock, Jeff Brock, wife Jan, and sister Wanda Smith, husband Roger and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Steve Smith and brother in law Wayne Welch. Services will be Wed., March 16, at 1:00 PM at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Riley officiating, burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Honoring her as pallbearers will be her family. Visitation is from 4 to 8 PM Tues., March 15.
