Billy Franklin Goforth

Billy Franklin Goforth, 61, left his earthly home on Saturday, June 4, 2022.  He was born in Fayette County on August 22, 1960, to the late Billy Carlton and JoAnn Denton Goforth.  Billy was a horse groomer at Tom Gentry Horse Farm, which was the ideal job as he loved being around horses and being outdoors.  He was known as a “fix-it” guy who could repair appliances, and he was a good painter.  Billy was a beloved father, grandfather, and uncle to a host of nieces and nephews, including his special niece Chasity Roark, whom he called his angel.  He leaves childhood memories with his sisters and brothers: Stella Marie Dean, Johnny Goforth, Fannie Turner, Debbie Williams, and Billy Carlton Goforth, Jr.  No services are planned at this time.  “If there ever comes a day where we can’t be together, keep me in your heart.  I’ll stay there forever.”  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust and loyalty given to us to care for Billy and his family.
