Brian Lee Hibbard

Brian Lee Hibbard, 40, of Nicholasville, left his earthly home Sunday, November 12, 2023.  He was the son of Benny and Evelyn Smallwood Hibbard, one of their five children, born April 9, 1983 in Lexington, KY.  Brian was a skilled builder who worked in construction and enjoyed recreational wood-working in his free time.  He enjoyed sports, especially basketball, but most of all, he loved his children, Kobe Brian Nathaniel Hibbard and Aaliyah Nichole Rose Hibbard.  In addition to his parents and his children, Brian leaves a lifetime of memories with his sisters Betty Renee Mills, Mary Lynn Strong, and Stephanie Nichole Thomason, several nieces and nephews, and Guy Martin, who raised him.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Hibbard.  Services are pending at this time.  His family would like to honor Brian with a memorial service and would appreciate donations to Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home to assist with funeral costs.  Donations can be made online using the Donations tab above, or can be brought or mailed to the funeral home at 207 West Oak Street, Nicholasville, KY, 40356.  “I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one; I’d like to leave an after glow of smiles when life is done.”  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust given to us to care for Brian and his family.
