Coming around the bend headed for the home stretch leading by one horse length is Bronnie Fisher who reached the Finish Line on Monday May 1, 2023. Bronnie loved horse racing especially Keeneland and worked for 10 years at the Red Mile as manager for the Detention Barn during the Grand Circuit. He also loved anything that involved a ball and was very involved in the Jessamine County Little League, where he coached baseball and was Vice President of the Little League Baseball Association and coached the traveling basketball teams. He was US Navy veteran and had retired from the Liberty Life Insurance Company as a salesman. He was born Jan. 29, 1941, to the late James Martin and Ruby Blakeman Fisher, being one of their three children. In 2003 he became the widower of Connie Guy Fisher. He leaves to cherish his memory son Jackie Fisher and daughter Jill Henslee, husband Chris, grandchildren Luke Henslee, Lane Henslee, and Kellen Fisher, and sister Trudy Densmore, as well as niece Devra Densmore and nephew James Fisher, along with other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother James Pete Fisher. A Home Going Celebration will be Sunday, May 7, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home beginning at 3:00 PM with a Eulogy at 6:30 PM by Jay Buffin.
