Carole Jean (Stinnett) Crump

Carole Jean Crump, 70, wife of Joe Crump left her earthly home on Tuesday Sept. 5, after a short illness.  Carole was born in Wilmore, KY to the late Preston and Fairy Davis Stinnett.  She collected lighthouses and loved to go to the ocean.  Her greatest passion was her family; daughter Angelia Shultz, grandsons Jonathan Dillard (Kayla) and Alan Dillard (Kelsey Hager) great grandchildren Raylan and Kinsley Dillard. She is also survived by brothers Harold Stinnett, wife Elaine, Kenneth Stinnett, wife Helen, Bobby Stinnett, and Sammy Stinnett, wife June and sister Christine Lee, husband Raymond, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by brothers Paul, Charles, Buster, and Preston, Jr. Stinnett and sister Joyce Becknell.  A Remembrance Service will be held 1:30 PM Monday Sept. 11,at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home.  She will be laid to rest in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.  Honoring her as pallbearers will be Jonathan and Alan Dillard, Billy Joe Crump, Chris Moore, John and Dylon Madden. Her family will greet friends starting at 1:00 PM and ending at 4:00 PM on Sunday, Sept. 10, at the funeral home Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day.  They are unseen, unheard, but always near and are still loved, missed and remain very dear.  Hager & Cundiff is honored to serve Carol’s family.  Please sign her guestbook and leave a memory as well view the video Tribute in her memory.
