Carolyn Ann Ashcraft, 67, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 5, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was a native of Jessamine County born Sept, 16, 1945, to the late Clarence and Irene Ashcraft. She was a member of Light House Baptist Church and a homemaker who was devoted to raising her children James David Bowman, Greg Bowman, wife Jennifer, Clyde E. Bowman who died in 2004, and her chosen children Andy and Christie. Besides her children she is survived by a brother Harry Ashcraft, Debbie Gardner, and 3 sisters Wanda Hensley, Jane Burton husband Tommie, and Bonnie Belcher husband Roger, grandchildren Mallorie Anne Lewis, Riley Owen Elm, and Preston Lee Elm, as well as a special friend Peggy Johnson and husband Rollie. In addition to her son she was preceded in death by 2 brothers Bobby and Jimmy Ashcraft. A Service of Remembrance will be at 7:00 PM Thursday August 8, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 3:00 PM until time of service at 7:00 PM Thursday. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Andy Oliver, Elmo Campbell, Brian Keith, John Yarnell, Jim Campbell, and Steve Oliver.
