Carolyn Shelton Caldwell

Carolyn Shelton Caldwell, 54, of Bradfordsville formerly of Nicholasville, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 17, at Springview Hospital, Lebanon, KY. She was a native of Jessamine County born March 8, 1958, to Bobby and Cricket Shelton. Carol attended Trinity Life Center in Lexington, enjoyed horseback riding and her family.

She was the loving wife for 14 years to John Caldwell. In addition to her parents and husband she is survived by her son Heath Shelton, wife Christina, sisters Pat Hammond, husband Mike, and Donna Barnett grandchildren Kara, Abigail, Emma Shelton, special nephews Justin & Adam Cheek. She was preceded in death by a sister Sherry Mitchell, and grandson John Scott Shelton.

A Remembrance Ceremony will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, June 20, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Bobby Stinnett. She will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Chad and Mike Hammond, Joey Davis, Ronnie Young, Justin Durham, and Jeff Caldwell. Honorary bearers will be William ‘Bo’ Bowman, Tanya Oliver, Pam Salley, Nikki Moberly, Charlotte Baron, Jana Brown, and Bob Royse.
