Cecil Ray Spicer, 65, of Wilmore, husband of Margaret, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 7, at his home. Cecil was a native of Jessamine County born March 20, 1949, to the late Cecil and Mary Ellen Price Spicer. He worked as a mechanic for Eastland Marathon for many years and was a motorcycle enthusiast. In addition to his devoted wife he leaves his memories with daughter Susan Jackson, sons James Lee Spicer and Thomas Ray Spicer, wife Christy, a brother Calvin L. Spicer, wife Linda, grandchildren Aaron, Brittany, and Summer Jackson, Gabrielle, Gavin, and Mason Spicer and 2 great granddaughters. Rev. Bill Bales of Bethel Christian Church will lead a Remembrance in honor of Cecil at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 12 at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. Cecil's request was cremation which was taken care of by Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. Donations may be made in his memory to Bethel Christian Church. Guestbook www.hagerandcundifffunerals.com.
