Charles Houp

Charles Houp, 73, a native of Jessamine County, son of the late William Thomas and Rosie Ann Baker Houp let ft his earthly home on Friday Sept. 1, at St. Joseph Hospice Care Center.  Charles was the father of Mary, Carl, and Richard Houp whose mother is Carolyn Ann Drury Dalton,  and brother of Virgil, Vernon, Enos and David Houp as well as a grandfather of one grandson and one granddaughter, and great grandfather to a grandson.  He was a former employee of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and worked for many years in the roofing industry.  He was preceded in death by a son Charles Edward Houp, Jr., brothers Bobby and Billy Joe Houp and sisters Helen Bowlin and Kathleen Houp.  His family is honoring his wishes for cremation and will plan for a private family get together at a later date  Hager & Cundiff Funeral home is honored that this family continues the tradition of allowing us to serve their family.  Sign his guestbook and leave a memory for the family at www.hagerandcundifffunerals.com
