Cheryl Anne Groves Greer

Cheryl Anne Groves Greer, 44, left her earthly home unexpectedly on Wednesday, Sept. 23. She was the loving mother of 3 children Travis, Amber, and Robyn Greer and grandmother to Teegan and Tinsley Hugie Greer and was excited about her soon to be born Tucker Hasty. She was a native of Lexington born Dec.16, 1970, to Sharlene Martin Gay and the late Morton Lewis Groves. Cheryl left special memories with sisters Laura Woods, husband Clifford, Brenda Himes, and Sue Russell, husband Joe, niece Brittanie Shelton, and Dwight Wade Sewell. Cheryl attended Bethel Christian Church and was a Cancer Survivor. She was described as a high maintenance person because taking care of her nails and hair was very high on her priority list. A Remembrance Service in her honor will be 2:00 PM Monday, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery. Her family will greet friends from 12:00 Noon until time of Service. The family suggest memorial contributions in her memory be made to the funeral home to assist the with funeral expenses.
