Chester Flora

Chester Flora, 84, of Miles Rd. husband of Nancy Flora, died Sunday, August 12, at the St. Joseph Hospice Care Center.

He was a native of Versailles was born July 20, 1927, to the late Alvia and Mattie Jane Aldridge Flora. Chester was a retired truck driver for Fab Steel and a member of the Harvest Worship Center. He loved his family and enjoyed watching their activities.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Sandra Moore, husband Dennis, Rick Flora, wife Sherry, Beverly Campbell, husband Louis, and Greg Flora wife Charlotte, 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Daehney Flora, a brother and 2 sisters.

Graveside Service will be Wednesday, Aug. 15, at Maple Grove Cemetery, the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. Flowers are welcome but donations in his memory can be made to Harvest Worship Center, 2011 Oxford Circle, Lexington, KY 40504
