Clabern Edward Helton

Clabern Edward Helton, 72, ded Tuesday Oct. 11, at Christian Health Care Center of Lancaster. He was the son of Mable Helton and the late Ezra Helton, a retired employee of Gulf Paper States, Loved playing the lottery, enjoyed Nascar, Cincinnait Reds, and UK basketball. In addition to his Mother he is survived by 9 children Beverly Jean Woods, husband Vinson Jo, Donnie Ray Helton, wife Denise, Donna Kay Gayheart, Brenda Sue McCown-Helton,and Doug Brooks, Robert E. Helton, Darin Wayne Helton wife Verla, Clabern Edward Helton, Jr. and Lewis Michael Helton, 4 brothers, 8 sisters.He also had numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Service will be 11:00 AM Sat. Oct. 15 at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Bowling and Brother Daryl Hodge officiating. He will be laid to rest at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Jason, Josh, Kevin, Rick, Paul and Nathan. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Fri. Oct. 14, at the funeral home.
