Clarence "Ed" Edward Fuller Profile Photo

Clarence Edward “Ed” Fuller, 91, widower of Ella Spurlock Fuller since 2005, joined his wife in eternal rest Tuesday, March 14, 2023.  Ed was born on April 20, 1931 in Lexington, KY, to the late Thomas Jefferson and Elizabeth Mullins Fuller.  He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served from 1951-1955.  Ed worked as a Lineman for IBM and also worked at RJ Reynolds Tobacco and Keeneland.  He was a Golden Glove boxer “back in the day” when he was in the Navy, and enjoyed playing golf at the Lone Oak Country Club and fishing.  He leaves behind three sons and their families:  David Fuller, Kenney Fuller, and Paul Fuller; and two stepsons and their families:  Tony Moffett and Gary Moffett.  Ed’s family will honor him with a Graveside Remembrance Service with Military Honors at 2:00 PM Friday, March 24, 2023 at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.  Serving as pallbearers will be Jesse Fuller, Chris Parish, Mike Smith, Tre Smith, Lukas Smith, Tony Moffett, and Gary Moffett.  The family will greet friends from 11:30AM-1:30 PM Friday at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home.  The family suggests donations to one’s favorite charity in Ed’s memory.  “Taps:  Day is done, gone the sun, from the lake, from the hills, from the sky.  All is well, safely rest, God is nigh.”  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust given to us to care for Ed and his family.
