Claude E. “Butch” Stailey, Jr. husband of Cheryl Ann Stailey left his earthly home on Tuesday, Nov. 13. He was one of three children of the late Claud Emmett, Sr. and Johnie Paulette Stailey. He was born July 7, 1951, in McKinney Texas. Butch was a member of the Chapel Hill Baptist Church, loved to fish, play Billiards, and be with his family. He was a self employed construction worker who primarily renovated disaster issues. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his wife, children Shannon Nicole Litton and Heather René Johnson, step children Jason Luster and Holly Britz, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and sister Karen Barden, husband Dale as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Susan Claudette Reynolds. “Grief is the last act of love we have to give to those we love.” In keeping with his wishes the family has chosen cremation with a Remembrance Memorial to be held at Chapel Hill Baptist Church Monday, Nov. 19 at 6:00 PM with Rev. Bobby Lakes officiating. Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home is honored to serve the Stailey family.
