Claudia Margaret Neal

Claudia Margaret Neal, 71, devoted wife of Alan Neal for 41 years, entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.  She was born on July 21, 1951 in Los Angeles, California to the late Cecil Gray and Arah Herren Bengham.  Claudia was an accountant, having worked for GMC and the Achievement Academy, from where she eventually retired.  She was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed reading and cross stitch in her free time, and she faithfully attended Southland Christian Church.  In addition to her husband Alan, Claudia leaves a lifetime of memories with their son Matthew Neal.  She will also be greatly missed by her brother-in-law James Robert Grey, sisters-in-law Rhonda Neal, Millie Rhensmith, and Joyce Hall, and special friends Dagmar Nosek and Julie Masonhemr, and several nieces and nephews, to whom she as a beloved Aunt.  Claudia was preceded in death by her sister Jenny Grey.  Her family will greet friends at 12:00 PM Monday, April 10, 2023, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home, following which she will be laid to rest at a Graveside Service at 1:00 PM at Maple Grove Cemetery in Nicholasville.  Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Neal, Matthew Searcy, Brandon Patterson, Chance Wilson, Mike Alexander, and Wilson Ray Cox.  Claudia’s family suggests donations to UK Children’s Hospital in her memory.  “If there ever comes a day where we can’t be together, keep me in your heart.  I’ll stay there forever.”  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust given to us to care for Claudia and her family.
