Nicholasville: Clossie Ann Canter Neilson, 81, formerly of Lexington, died Thurs., Aug. 7, at Northpointe Nursing Home. She was a native of Jessamine County born April 12, 1927 to Hazel Cook Canter Bruner and the late Elgin Canter. Ann loved taking care of the elderly and therefore spent most of life employed by those who needed her care. In addition to her Mother she is survived by a son Mike Gill and his wife Harriett, a brother Sterling Canter, and wife Norma, 2 grandchildren Jason and Whitney, and a great granddaughter Evie. She was preceded in death by brothers Chester Martin Canter and W. F. Canter.

Services will be 1:00 PM Sat. Aug. 9, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home, burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Senator Tom Buford, Tom Sutherland, Dr. Boone Sutherland, Bill McIntyre, Bob McIntyre, and Gerald Cobb. Visitation will be on Sat. from 11:00 AM until time of service.
