Conlie Spicer,87, of Lexington, formerly of Wilmore, joined his 7 brothers and sisters, son Conlie, Jr. and his wife Dorothy in eternal rest on Monday, Aug. 5. He was a native of Breathitt County born June 28, 1926, to the late Richard and Eliza Spicer. He loved to hunt, fish, and garden and was a simple man who loved simple things. He was a retired mechanic for Curry & Adams and leaves to cherish his memory are his daughters Janice Gayle Spicer, Armida Jean Prewitt, husband Rod, and Debra Lynn Spicer, son Gary Wayne Spicer, wife Linny, six grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. A Graveside Remembrance will be held at 130PM on Wed. Aug 7, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery
Honoring him as pallbearers will be Gregory Newman, Rodney Prewitt, Brian and Kevin Garland, Charles and Larry Stamper
