Connie Sue Hall, 57, left her earthly home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. A native of Richmond, KY she was born June 15, 1962 one of 5 children born to Mary Jane Durbin Stevens and the late Allen Stevens. Connie was well known for the caring and compassion she gave to others while working as a caregiver. She was a former employee of Council Oaks Assisted Living as well as a private duty sitter, and enjoyed playing board games with her grandchildren, sewing, and her precious family. She will be fondly remembered by her children Jessica Ross, Cassie Houp and William Houp, grandchildren Michael Ross and Bryson Houp and her sisters and brothers Pam Couch, husband Delmer, Anthony Stevens, Edith Richie, husband Keith, Daryl Stevens, wife Tina will treasure their childhood memories. She also leaves behind a special friend and companion Wayne Bruner, special “uncle” Billy Durbin as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, July 17, beginning at 1:00 PM and ending at 5:00 PM. “Never think you don’t have an impact. Your fingerprints can’t be wiped away from the little marks of kindness that you leave behind”. Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home considers it a privilege to be chosen to arrange for Connie’s cremation as this was her wish. Donations may be made in her memory to Bluegrass Care Navigators or the American Cancer Society.
