Constance "Connie" Anne Mullins

Constance “Connie” Anne Mullins, 69, loving wife of Everett Mullins, Sr. for 39 years left her earthly home on Friday, July 12, 2019.   A native of Portsmouth, Virginia she was born June 4, 1950 and was the daughter of Julia Anne Bussells McClenney and the late John McClenney.  Connie was self employed hairdresser and worked for many years at Mona Mia Hair Salon.  She loved bowling, playing the lottery. and eating out, but her favorite activity was shopping at WalMart.  Riding in one of their motorized scooters she was known for playing hide and seek with her husband who was always trying to locate her! Going into the store for a loaf of bread could become a 3 hour venture.  Her passion was her grandchildren and spending time with them.  She leaves fond memories with her mother, husband, and children Brenda Ponce, husband Chris, Dora Michelle Grosinsky, husband Greg, and Everett “Buddy” Mullins, Jr., grandchildren Christopher, wife Brittany, Ronnie, Kameron, Ariana, Dawson, Greggie, Timothy, Lexie, Logan, Chandler and Aiden, great grandchildren Keegan, Kendall, Hayden, Ayston, and the future Baby “Hildy”. She leaves childhood memories with sister Pamela Tulloch.   In addition to her Dad Connie was preceded in death by a sister Deborah Clark.  “When I come to the road, laugh at all the things we used to do, miss me, but let me go”.  Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home is privileged to assist the Mullins' with a family gathering on Tuesday from beginning at 5:00 PM and ending at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
