Dana Allen Reed

Dana Allen Reed, 42, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 2, at Good Samaritan Hospital. Dana is the son of Martha Jean Caudill and the late Paul William Reed. He was a native of Ft. Knox, KY, born July 12, 1971, but was a life long resident of Jessamine and Fayette Counties. He was a graduate of Jessamine County High School, an employee of Shakespeare & Co, and former manger of McDonalds in Tates Creek Center for many years. He loved children, animals, crossword puzzles and UK basketball. In addition to his Mother he leaves his memories with his step father Herbert Caudill, maternal grandmother Edith Drury, brothers Tim Reed sister-in-law Lynn and Marshall Caudill, sister-in-law Jennifer, sisters Teresa Garrison brother-in-law Tommy, Kimberly Caudill and Mary Caudill, 8 nephews and 7 nieces. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Edward Drury. A Service of Remembrance will be at 11:00 AM Friday, June 6, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Marshall Caudill, Todd and Derrick Drury, Frank Anderson, Lyle Carter, and Chris Hayner. Honorary bearers will be Tim Reed, Tommy Garrison, Roger Drury, and Tony Drury. His family will greet friends from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday, June 5, at the funeral home.
