July 24, 1945 - April 04, 2017
Danny “Tuck” Bruner, 71. “Surely Jesus loves fishermen for He chose them for His own, To be with Him and learn from Him and someday share His home. It must have been their trust in God and patience He found rare, That keeps them very near His heart and ever in His Care”. Tuck loved to fish and hunt although in his later years he gave up hunting becoming too tender hearted to pursue. He was a native of Jessamine born July 24, 1945 to Ann Walker Corman and the late Elgan Bruner and was a verteran of the US Army. He was a patient man and soft spoken, who was always ready with his humor and quick smile. Tuck was employed by the City of Nicholasville haveing worked in the Electric Department, and the Police Department where he served as Chief for a number of years before his retirement. He loved to dance and was a devoted fan of Elvis Presley music. He leaves these and many more of his memories with children Gina Branscum, husband John, Shellie Frye, husband Greg, Stuart Bruner, and Mitch Houp who chose Tuck as a father figure and Tuck loved him as he did all his children, 11 grandchildren, Kassi Williams, her companion Eddie Wright, Conley and John Stuart Branscum, Michael Todd, Trevor, Hagen, and Brindley Frye, Dalton and Peyton Bruner and Caleb Slider and Ana Wright and 5 great grandchildren as well as sisters Barbara Sue Clark, husband Ray, Ida Young, husband Lynn, brother Kevin Corman, wife Tammy, sister-in-law Dottie Bruner, numerous nieces and nephews and special friends.
