Danny Lee Holmes, 53, of Hamm Hill Rd, died at his home on Friday, July22, 2011. A native of Indiana he was born May 12, 1958, to the late James and Glodean Rainwater Holmes. He was the loving husband of Ruth Ann Howard Holmes after 23 of marriage. Danny loved fishing and had a passion for Harley motorcycles. In addition to Ruth he is survived by children; Juanita Sullivan, husband Mitchell, Garrard County, Rebecca Perkins, Garrard County, Tracy Davis, Jessamine County, June Hendrickson husband Charles, Garrard County, Bobbie Jo Parker husband Dale Wayne, Garrard County, Jeremy Holmes, Garrard County, Chrystal Holmes and Heather Green both of Mississippi, brothers Roger Holmes wife Anne, Steve Holmes wife Carol, James Holmes, sister Peggy Richardson husband Terry, numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson Bradley Sullivan.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, July 28, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Antonio Stuckey officiating with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday, July 27 at the funeral home. Guest book available www.hagerandcundifffunerals.com
