David P. Hassloch, 68, Lexington, formerly of Nicholasville, died Sun. Oct. 16, at his home. He was the son of Dorothy Thornton Hassloch and the late Ernest Hassloch. He was a life member and former Vice President of the Nicholasville Lions Club in which he served on numerous committees, the National Street Rod Association and former member of the Lexington Jaycees. David was a member of Porter Memorial Baptist Church, widower of Mary Ester Nickell Hassloch, and retired employee of Philip Wiese Plumbing . In addition to his Mother he is survived by 3 sons Joel Michael, David Porter II, and Robert Ernest Hassloch, step daughter Carla N. Perkins husband Bobby, step son Jeffrey Nickell, wife Brenda, 2 brothers Fred and James Hassloch, grandchildren Dakota, Teah Marie, Robert Levi and Lacy Carolyn Hassloch, 3 step grandchildren Melody, Scotty, and Katie, great granddaughter Emma, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 12:30 PM Wed., Oct 19, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home and he will be laid to rest with his wife at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of service on Wednesday. Contributions may be made in his memory to Nicholasville Lions Club or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
