David Allen Masters

October, 19, 1959 - June, 12, 2012

David Allen Masters, 52, a native of Nicholasville and son of Luther and Mamie Bentley Masters, died Tuesday, June 12, at UK Hospital. David was a former City of Nicholasville Street Dept. employee, a former employee of Jessamine County Maintenance Dept. and was also self employed brick layer.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his companion of 33 years Sherry Burch, 3 children Joseph Tipton, Somerset, Corey and Sasha Burch, Nicholasville, sister Michelle Wyman, brother Mike Masters, niece Kassie Peck, husband Stewart, and nephews Tyler Masters and Josh Buckler.

A Remembrance Ceremony will be 1:00 PM Thursday, June 14, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Joe Turner, Cory Burch, Doodle Peel, Paul Wells, Russ Meyers, and Stewart Peck. Honorary bearers will be Tyler and Mike Masters, Michael Burch, and Wayne Bentley, Jr.. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 Wednesday, June 13, at the funeral home.
