David Stewart "Dave" Plunkett

David Stewart Plunkett "Dave", born April 20th,1971, passed away in the presence of his home on Monday night January 17th, 2022. David was a Nicholasville native, born and raised. He graduated from Jessamine County High School class of ‘89. He was a natural born athlete. His youth all through high school David played basketball, football and especially loved and excelled at the game of baseball, holding the homerun record in Jessamine County for many years. David was known for being a class clown with a huge heart. Anyone who knew him has a funny story to tell. His smile lit up a room. He enjoyed fishing, he loved the ocean and he loved being a grandfather more than anything. He is preceded in death by his grandson Prestonn David Guarnieri. He is survived by his parents, Danny Stewart Plunkett and Lois Parker Squires; sister, Kimberly Wells Jacobs; daughters, Morgann Alexis Guarnieri and Olivia Katherine Halley; sons-in-law, William Masonn Guarnieri and Tyler Hampton Halley; grandchildren, Kamrynn Journey Guarnieri, Sadie Kathrynn Rose Guarnieri and Masonn Karter Guarnieri; niece and nephews, Kayla Michelle Madden, Joshua Alan Mitchell and Jacob Todd Mitchell. Memorial services at Hager and Cundiff will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 1 to 2 PM. The family would like to express thanks for your prayers and kind words.
