Deloris B. Hager, 70, loving wife of Jesse James”Jimmy” Hager for 50 years entered into eternal rest on Thursday, Jan. 10. She was a native of Fayette County Born Feb. 4, 1948, to the late Ebb and Lizzie Mae Butler Hall. Deloris had been a member of Porter Memorial Baptist Church in early years and was a retired employee of the GE Lamp Plant. She loved the outdoors whether gardening or taking care of the chickens. Her children described her as a great cook, one who like to quilt, enjoyed canning her vegetables, and working out on her weight bench. Her favorite sayings are: “It will be alright”; “You know what I mean”; and We’re gonna be in trouble”. She will be missed by her loving children Stephena Wallace, husband Lee and James W. “Jay” Hager, grandchildren Milan Hager and Marshall Gabbard. She leaves her childhood memories with brothers Rock, Bobby, Gene, and Danny Hall, as well as sisters Sherry Wallace and Myrtle Ramey. Deloris was a very private person and her family his honoring her wishes for a private service.
