Dessie M. Johnson Morrison

Dessie M. Johnson Morrison, 61, of Wilmore, passed away unexpectedly on May 8, at her home. She was a native of Jessamine County born July 23, 1952, to the late Fuzzy Elert and Sarah Short Johnson. Dessie was a retired employee of Thomson-Hood Veterans Center and member of the Pentecostal Church. She is survived by children Paul Cuzick, wife Joey, Jennifer Bain, husband Michael, and Robert Cuzick, brothers James and Carlos, sister Vivian, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Trisha Gilbert and Steve Fathergill. She will be laid to rest with a Graveside Service on Tuesday, May 13, in the Short Family Cemetery on Jacks Creek Pike in Madison County. Contributions may be made to her family to help with expenses for her funeral.
