Diane Irene (Gould) Ferris

Diane Irene Ferris, 78, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, entered her heavenly home on Saturday, March 18, 2023.  She was born February 8, 1945 in Flint, Michigan to the late Kenneth and Viola Balcom Gould.  She was raised in Michigan and lived there until January 1, 1977, at which time her husband Frank and two daughters moved to Kentucky for his job.  Diane enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom and liked painting, working in ceramics, and bowling in her younger years.  She became a Christian and was baptized in Dry Ridge, KY fifteen years ago.  Diane leaves wonderful memories with her daughters Angela Johnson, husband Marty, and Melanie Linville, grandchildren Joshua Johnson, wife Anastasia, and Madison Pierce, husband Tyler, and her brother Doug Gould, wife Vicki.  In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years Frank Allen Ferris, and her siblings Richard McCall, Kenny Gould, Art Gould, Bonnie Cardinal, Marsha Holliday, Randy Gould, and David Gould.  A gathering of family will be planned at a later date.  “You never forget you mother’s face, the stories she told, the lessons she taught . . . they are her gift and your legacy.”  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust given to us to care for Diane and her family.
