Dolly Hamm Perkins, 92, widow of Edward ‘Pod’ Perkins died Sun. June 10, 2012, at Madison Manor Health & Rehab in Richmond. A native and life log resident of Jessamine County she was born Sept. 12, 1919, to the late Arthur and Mary Dunn Hamm. She was a life member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, former member of the Oak Hill Homemakers Club, Treasurer for Farm Bureau for 15 years, member of Beef Cattle Association and the Antique Farm Machine. Survivors include grandsons David and Danny Ketron, 3 great grandchildren, daughter in law Arlene Ketron, sister in law Lillian Perkins, nephew Elgan Stappe II, neices Sue Hamm Wilson and Cheryl Perkins Jones as well as several other neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by son Paul Douglas Ketron and Charles Perkins, brothers Shirley Hamm and Norman Hamm, sisters Olive Carter, Gladys Brooks and Anna K. Stappe.

A Remembrance Ceremony will be held 1:00 PM Friday, June 15, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Chris Harrison. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Maple Grove Cemetery. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Donald A. Hamm, Jr., James S. Wilson, Norman Belcher, Wayne Brooks, J. T. Dunn and Billy Fount House. Honorary pallbearer is Buddy Teater. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, at the funeral home.
