Dolores Morris Coonfield, 73, died Monday, Jan. 4, at the St. Joseph Hospice Care Center. A native of Jessamine County she was born Dec. 5, 1936, to the late Joseph M. and Frankie Shackelford Nash. She was the widow of William Floyd Morris who died in 1987 and William Lee Coonfield who died in 1995, Dolores was a retired employee of GTE where she had worked in management for many years and she had also been an employee of Central Kentucky Federal Savings in Lancaster. She is survived by her daughter Kim Gillispie, husband Bob, sisters Phyllis Whitaker, Hazard, Della and Wanda Nash, Indiana, a brother Donald Nash, Winchester, 2 grandchildren Bobby Gillispie, wife Allison and Lee Gillispie and 2 great grandchildren McKenzie Gillispie and Nevaeh Gillispie. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers.

Services will be 1:30 PM Thurs. Jan. 7, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Meece officiating, burial in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Will Locker, Steven Richardson, Tim Deehan, Bob Proffitt, Bily Watkins, and Loren Cole. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Wed., Jan. 6.
