Donald Ray "Donnie" Clark

Donald Ray "Donnie" Clark, 67, loving husband for 45 years to Betty Curtis Clark entered into eternal rest on Thursday, Oct. 22, at the VA Hospital after an extended illness. He was a native of Versailles, KY born June 15, 1948,to the late Charles and Anna Pearl Cottrell Clark. He was a US Army veteran having served in the Vietnam War and was a Purple Heart recipient he also was a retired mechanic having been employed by Tom Wood Pontiac. Donnie had a passion for fishing and entered many Bass Tournaments and also had a love for golf and bowling and was known for bowling 300 with either left or right hand. In addition to his wife he leaves his memories with children Lucretia Raye Gambill, Kevin Lee Clark, and Lena Dawn Hill, grandchildren Travis and Jessica Sallee, Kayla Lockerd, Megan Gambill, Emma Grace, Makenzie, Rowdy, and Daci Hill, and Branden Maynard, great grandchildren Jacob and Tiffany Sallee, and Chloe Fritts, brother Gayle Clark and sister Gladys Marie Federick. He was preceded in death by a brother Duane Clark. A Service of Remembrance will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Lonnie Moore officiating. He will be laid to rest in Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Military Honors. George Hill, David Gambill, Kevin Clark, Thurman Curtis, Donald Curtis, Ricky Aldridge and Travis Sallee will honor him as pallbearers. His family will greet friends from 4 to 8 PM on Monday, Oct. 26, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home and from 10:00 AM until the beginning of his Service at the Church.
