Donald Gene Davis, 53, son of the late Robert Lee Davis and Louvenia Padgett left his earthly home on Monday, Dec. 29, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Gene had been a resident of Oakwood in Somerset. Survivors include his siblings Connie Estes, Keith Davis, Billy Joe Davis, Jerry Davis, James Davis, Margaret Lay, and Brenda Welch, Margaret Scott, Katherine Shearer and his aunt who took care of him Willetta Shearer, husband Glenn. He will be laid to rest with his father at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with a Graveside Service at 12:30PM on Wednesday, Jan.7. Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home is honored to service Gene's family.
