Donald Wayne Fain, 68, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, Aug. 12. Born Aug. 19,1944, to the late Edgar G and Mattie Belle Flora Fain in Woodford County. Donald worked and retired as a horse trainer at the Red Mile. Survivors include his children Donald Edward Fain, wife Channan, Timothy Wayne Fain wife Amanda, and Lisa Michelle Fain all of Ohio, their mother Juanita Fain Bowling, grandchildren Kaylyn Eckler, Alyssa Fain, Chelsea Jones, Casey Jones, Mika Fain, Christopher Chamberlain, Kaylynn Lawson, and Skyler Fain, sister Cecie Faye Huff and special nieces Lisa and Starla Huff. He was preceded in death by a sister Sue Ann Johnson and brother-in-law Gary Huff. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, Aug. 16, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives from 4 to 7 PM on Thurs. Aug. 15, at the funeral home.
