Donald Ray Hickey, Jr.

Donald Ray Hickey, Jr., 66, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 1. 2023.  He was born on February 16, 1957 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Donald Ray Hickey, Sr. and Geneva Lawson Hickey.  He grew up in the Baptist faith and enjoyed playing in Pool Tournaments and playing Poker.  Donald was well-loved by his family and leaves a lifetime of memories with his sisters Cynthia Beam, Debbie Edwards, husband Eugene, Tammy Howell, Angie Rhorer, husband David, Amanda McRae, husband Melvin, and Annetti McNeil, his step-mother Linda Hickey, and numerous nieces and nephews, including a special nephew Jeff Beam who was like a brother to him.  Besides his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his brother Gary Hickey and step-brother Ray Sims.  A Remembrance Memorial Service will be at 5:30 PM Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Edgewood Baptist Church, and the family will greet friends before the service beginning at 4:00 PM.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday at 12:00 PM at 105 Leatherwood Drive in Wilmore. “Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.”  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust given to us to care for Donald and the Hickey Family.
