Donald Gene Lunsford

Donald Gene "Donnie" Lunsford, 57, of Lancaster, KY, left his earthly home Sunday, December 31, 2023.  He was born in Lexington, KY on August 29, 1966 to the late Buford and Linda Malone Lunsford.  Donnie was self-employed as an upholsterer and enjoyed fishing and watching television in his free time.  He leaves behind two sons and three grandchildren, his devoted companion Sherry Hampton, and two beloved sisters, Ruby Higgins and Shirley Dixon.  Besides his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by two brothers, Lee Lunsford and Danny Lunsford.  Cremation has been chosen by the family with no services planned.  "So as long as we live, he too shall live, for he is a part of us, and we remember him." ~Anonymous
